THE LATEST NEWS AND UPDATES FROM ABRCMS 2022

Poster and Exhibit Halls Open Today for the First Time

The ABRCMS 2022 Poster and Exhibit Halls open for the first time on Thursday, Nov. 10. Both will be open from 2:10 – 5:40 p.m. and again from 1:15 – 4:35 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11. The Exhibit Hall also will be open on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.

The Poster Hall is located in Hall C and the Exhibit Hall is located in Hall B at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Nearly 2,000 students will present posters to judges and conference attendees this year. Three research scientists will judge the presentations based on ABRCMS’ scoring rubric. The judges will analyze each presenter’s ability to explain the various steps of the research, the quality of the poster display, and how the student handles questions about the research. Students will receive feedback from the judges to optimize their presentation delivery.

Posters are categorized into the 12 STEM disciplines recognized by ABRCMS. The top presentations from each discipline will be recognized at an awards ceremony from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Saturday. ePosters will be presented for virtual meeting attendees from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

In the Exhibit Hall, students can connect with their peers as well as hundreds of organizations that can help them along their educational paths and begin their career journeys. The Exhibit Hall features a record number of institutions, laboratories and government agencies—more than 410 combined—seeking ABRCMS attendees to join their programs.

Due to the high volume of exhibitors, students are encouraged to browse the ABRCMS exhibitor list and prioritize the organizations they want to network with. The exhibitor list is also available in the ABRCMS Events mobile app, where attendees can build their personalized conference agendas.

In the back of the Exhibit Hall, take advantage of the new headshot lounge. Attendees at the start of their professional or postgraduate careers can sign up on the ABRCMS website. Walk-ups will not be accepted, so sign up early. Conference attendees who sign up late will be contacted if there are cancellations or no-shows.
